Simplified Ballet and Jazz classes are offered as a way for younger dancers to exercise their body while developing creativity, coordination, flexibility, and rhythm. Basic dance steps and movement activities allow students to have fun while building the foundations for future dance training.
As a classical and essential dance form, Ballet will help students develop poise, balance, and control, while improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. Barre, centre, and travelling exercises allow students to focus on their technique and musicality while dancing with grace and precision.
As a fundamental and high energy dance form, Jazz focuses on proper technique while helping students develop strength, flexibility, stamina, coordination, and stylization. Students will learn the versatility of this genre, from Broadway to Jazz Funk, through intensive movements such as jumps, leaps, turns, and kicks.
Acro class is a combination of dance technique and gymnastics. In a safe and fun environment, students will learn how to properly execute acrobatic tricks while increasing strength, flexibility, and physical control.

Tap is a high energy dance form that uses the body as an instrument and allows students to make music with their feet! This class creates a percussive sound by focusing on rhythm, syncopation, and coordination.
This Broadway inspired class combines dance with theatre to enhance performance skills. Students will explore different characters and themes through movement, lip-synching, and acting. This high energy class encourages students to showcase their creativity while having lots of fun!

This trendy dance form allows students to dance to their favourite Hip Hop music while learning the coolest moves from today’s popular culture. Hip Hop encourages students to explore their own personal style while getting a great workout in a high energy class.
Lyrical is a graceful and expressive dance form that focuses on interpreting the meaning of the music in order to tell the story through movement. Dancers will combine proper ballet and jazz techniques while executing an emotional performance.
**Co-requisite: Students must be enrolled in ballet and jazz**
This exercise class for dancers will utilize proper fitness techniques to increase flexibility, strength, and endurance. Providing students with an intensive conditioning regime will reduce the risk of possible injuries and fortify their skills in all genres of dance.
